What year did mitch pay $1,350 for a matching numbers, driveable judge convertible? My guess is 1978.

I thought it was Midnight, but Voodoo it is.

He had it in a storage shed at about 61st and Garnett when I saw it, I'm going to guess 1984.

Maybe they got some wires crossed and think the VooDoo JVert picture i posted - represents the PHS that Steve posted.

That confusion could create some interesting dialogue.

(for example - HEY the hood is the only thing left that is original , they laid it on a Green Lemans Vert and swapped the tags over i bet !) etc etc

would make a good eBay listing lol

I still have the PHS on a car here in town I tried to buy for YEARS but finally gave up. It was a 69 Judge conv, ram air 111, 3-speed, no console with bench front seat and no hood tach. Had an am radio and that was IT! Big family had a hard time deciding who actually owned it and it needs a TOTAL resto. Hasnt ran for 15 years or more.

And no longer has the original motor. They ran it hot years ago and put a regular 400 in it. They have no idea where the original motor is......
Or who actually owns it. No titles in Alabama on cars older than 1975

Before I started on the resto on the blue Judge I have on Ebay, I offered them a late model, low mileage red convertible Corvette but they passed. I gave up and started on my blue one.

i found that car back in 1985 on my way back from florida picking up a 72 trans am. it was still a really nice car back then. they wouldnt even consider selling it and i never got to look under the hood. they said it hadnt been being driven in several years back then. so is it still there? what is it like now?

It's ROUGH! It's been sitting on flat tires for 15 years. They moved it somewhere else in town because they got tired of people stopping.

I remember Jimmy telling about this 3spd JVert car some years back.
Belonged to an african-american family and is Carousel Red / Orange.

Does that still seem like the same car/scenario Gary ?
