Anyone know what time the 71 is supposed to be on the block?

The '71 just sold for $67k plus commission. When it went on stage they got the camera under it and I noticed accordion bends in the exhaust pipes which is not what you'd expect to see on such a rare car. Not that hard to fix but kind of makes me wonder if that was the only short cut taken on it of if there were some other similar things that held the bidding back. I also notice it was missing the KR rally's as well.

Lot 1044 appears to have "pearl" pigment in the paint, which would not be authentic. I'm not bagging on the car, just something I noticed.

As you guys have mentioned, most of these look like they were thrown together for a "quick flip". Radials, mis-painted grills, wrong master cylinders & the "infamous" air cleaner decal...makes u wonder what else is wrong underneath???

Ok guys just saw a 69 trans Am at 135K. With the prices of the judges being were they are, whats up with the Judge market? Is everybodys 50-60k Judge now close to 100K?

Only if you take it to BJ and roll the dice at their "no reserve" auction.

Pretty interesting auction results on the 69 CR Judges. Something tells me that the buyers haven't been following the market, otherwise, they could have bought 2-3 comparable Judges for what they paid for the quick flip cars at B-J...

The buyers are hungry for certain cars and BJ brought enough to satisfy. 69 CR 4 speed was the Judge they wanted. Not one was impressive just one stop shopping in a great event.

Not sure the buyers were looking for all the nuts and bolts correct either.

Couldn't read the date code on the 12 bolt rear but it was stated as a 3.73! No chrome tips on exhaust either but someone paid 100k...

The CR over Parchment are stunning. It's easy to get caught up in the moment.

The truth will be revealed if we see half or more of these cars at auction again and pushing for higher prices...like what happened the last run up.

Remember the MOPARS and how they got moved around, prices kept getting higher, hoopla kept building.....but it crashed, couldn't keep the momentum going.

Who owned those million $ Mopars....?......*do some research.

Same method was tried on the $ million Pontiac TA, but that lil deal happened to be caught on camera by accident, and went out, didn't it?

Hey, more power to them.....its not regulated, lets build the house of cards again....
