Old original Delco Energizer Battery
I found this old battery at my dad's house. It has probably been sitting here for over 30 years. Is there any way to restore this or use its case? Is this correct for a 66 GTO by any chance?

FWIW...
The Green Cap G65 series is not correct for '66 Pontiac.
Those were Furd use. Truly no value in that condition short of a door stop. You want a R59

I'd guess that restoring a lead-acid battery is well beyond the capability of a do-it yourself-er.

My dad had a 55 Olds Rocket 88 and a 46 Ford years ago. I guess this was from the 46. I wouldn't attempt restoring this, but wasn't sure if there are companies that can.
Thanks for the replies. |

The 46 Ford would have come with a 6V system.
