Question for you paint boys
Paint some disk brake spindles, took them down to bare metal, put on some Rust-Oleum self etching primer...........did 3 coats like the can says.
Then i threw on couple coats of black paint about 4 hrs later. Talked to a buddy of mine who says your only supposed to put one coat of self etch on then follow up with a epoxy primer, then paint. Do i just take this down to bare metal again and start over............Or will i be ok on what i already did. Thanks Rich |

You already did it 10x better than factory - doubt you’ll have any problems

Recently used some of that Rustoleum self etching for the first time. That stuff is pretty tough.
