Default Track last night

Well.........got out and made a couple hits last night at “street heat”

Not a night to tune .....rolled off the trailer, made a couple hits

11.16 at 119.....1.562 60’

Nothing spectacular, but decent debut

See first pass:

I clicked on the little picture and it opened a play window. Then just click the play arrow. Took it a little bit to change to the play screen with my old computer.

Nice first pass! Cool car! Good short time for a 4K car. Sure looks like you will find 10s pretty quikly.

Running Dougs 1 3/4 headers with Mickey 275/60/15 pro drag radials

What total timing are you finding optimum?....I feel my timing was off a bit. I set it at 30 total and didn’t get a chance to change it.

Also feels like the qjet and rpm intake without a spacer is holding it back some....maybe not a bad thing

Excellent!

Thanks for the info as well....it appears I am not too far off given I’m a bit heavier ....I will have some time in the near future to get some testing in on a better surface ...hopefully have time to play with timing and shift points

Nice run. Looks like the car for it's weight is doing really well. I seen air under front tire.. 60 ft times are pretty much the same. I think at sea level we had some 1.52's. Here at home were 1.57. Your doing better than us with the weight of the car.

Thanks

Just caught this thread...excellent run. Looking at your posts. As chuckle mentioned 32 degrees seems to be a really good baseline on these engines. E- Heads like 32 -35, depends on other factors. KRE s like a little less it seems..but you need to play with it.
I run 32 and when on the dyno bumping up or down lost 20 hp. The sweet spot is there.
Is your intake ported ?. I run a 1 spacer on both my set ups. RPM /Torker.

My Torker is port matched. I tested the RPM and both intakes ran basically the same.

I also run the 1” spacer.

I hear you but unfortunately, I don’t have ANY room for a spacer with the RPM intake. My RPM is worked over pretty good as well.....sounds like the single plane won’t net me much if anything based on chuckies76ta report ...

Good info and food for thought ....thanks
