Original part 69 hideaway?
Just picked up a original hideaway set up and getting ready to strip it down and saw the little plastic caps on the grille screws is that correct ?

Don’t recognize that, probably home made to adjust the position of the door?

Caps are correct.

I recall those on a '69 I had in the early 80's, they were on the top screws that held the door grills on. I assumed they were there to protect your fingers/hands when the doors are in the open position......I can imagine the exposed screw tips drew some blood from a few techs when they changed/adjusted headlights.

Makes sense! Those things should probably be all over the place
I could think of 10 more screws waiting to draw some blood.
