Jerry’s funeral was today. He founded the Southeast GTO Association (SEGTOA) and was very active in it until just before his death. He was signed up to attend Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge before his health declined sharply. A group of us from the SEGTOA attended the funeral today and accompanied his Cremains which were riding in his Grand Prix for his last ride in a Pontiac. We had a police escort for the 19 mile trip to the grave side service. It was a beautiful service and I was glad to be part of it. He was so faithful to check on me after I lost my wife to brain caner last November. He knew what I was going through as he, too, had lost his wife. No matter what Jerry was dealing with, I never saw him without a smile on his face. Here are some photos of our cars outside the Dairy Queen he used to own in Cleveland, GA and of the memorial program from the service today.
