I really need to replace the hood on my 69. It has ram air. Who makes the best replacement hood???

Jim,I believe there is only 1 Company that reproduces the 68-70 GTO hood.You need to decide from where or what place you want to order a GTO hood from depending on where you live and shipping cost!Sometimes a local Body Shop or other Dealer that sells Aftermarket hoods can order a hood for you and you may save on shiping cost?The Repo hoods may need to be trimed underneath for the Ram Air pans,you should be able to look at your original hood to see what is actually removed to fit the Ram Air upper pan? 1-GTO

I've seen them priced at $389 last year. Are they priced similar now?

All the ones I see say.not for ram air. Are you saying to use one of those and trim to fit??

Jimmy - I would buy one of the repros and cut out the air slots. It will look fine and be a lot cheaper than an original if you could even find one.
