I'm sure it feels good to get it back on the frame. It looks good.

My son at one time worked at March. The brackets and pullies like good on the Pontiac!

It’s a 455 (73 big car YC code I think) the heads are #15 heads with bigger exhaust valves.

The motor dyno’d at 430 hp and 507tq.

Right now I am working on the electrical, heating a/c installed. I finished the exhaust , I used the exhaust from RARE ( ram air restoration exhaust), I like the quality and fit of the exhaust.

I’ve also been fitting the Ram Air air cleaner. Since I’m using the Holly Sniper it taking just a little extra fabrication.

I’m using the American AutoWire Classic update kit for the electrical. The electrical system will be customized, mainly because I’m using a high amp Alternator and adding in replays for fans , headlights and fuel pump. The AAW kit is pretty decent and I like the quality of it.

Jim, did the AAW kit work out for you?

I finally finished this build and although I had some high blood pressure issues with the paint job, I was able to work things out with the paint shop amicably. The car drives real well but I really would like to get out and drive it some more. Right after I finished this project I jumped into the next project , 72Firebird.

Really nice. Thanks for all the pics. I'm finishing a frame off resto on the same style car as we speak. Mine is Lamborghini orange with white interior.
