Default 72 TA shaker hood flap activation

I own a 72, TA with a TH400. I would like to make the shaker hood flap functional. What activates the flap? Kick down switch or switch on the carb. What color coded wires to the solenoids?

T400 kick down switch activated the shaker solenoids as well as the '72 PQ Turbo 400's kick down function. An original '72 T/A kick down switch has a resistor across its terminals. If no one puts up the color stripes noting the resistance, I can pull out an NOS one & get the resistance value.

Should have a set of piggy back terminals on the kick-down switch if TH400 one set for trans operation and the other for wires for shaker door
