FOR SALE: GM 3800 Series II V-6 and 4 speed 4L60-E automatic transmission from 2000 Pontiac Firebird. This combo had a little over 21,000 original miles when I helped remove it from the donor car.
This engine comes with the power steering pump and reservoir, A/C compressor, alternator, coil pack, exhaust manifolds, engine mount brackets, and air intake.
I had bought this engine for a 1971 Vega Panel Express project car. I sold this car late last year when I bought a 1973 Pontiac Astre Panel Express. I have bought a 231 Buick turbo engine for the Pontiac car so I am not going to use this combo any longer.
I have had this engine stored indoors since I bought in August 2004. The proverbial “My loss is your gain” applies here. I bought it because it was a fair deal on a low mileage engine / transmission combo.
