What are the chances of getting someone to repop the Tail Panels for a 69 Firebird. I have been looking for over a year for a nice rust/dent free panel, and there are none. Seems like if the chevy guys can get a 69 Camaro tail panel reproduced they can change the die to work for a 69 bird.

Everyone begged for the 67-68 firebird tailpanel and when it finally became available it sold poorly. I think the mfg's are afraid because it is only for 1 year. However, I have heard rumours that someone is attempting to make these.

Chris,

Is there a time frame or a release date for the 69 gto taillight bezels?

Are there any plans for the 69 gto dash pad?

Thanks,

Chris,

The stack gauges for a 69 Firebird would seem to be a good money-maker. A recent set on e-bay with the in-dash tach sold for $2,500!

I wouldn't pay that much for them, but $500? Sure, and I bet many more would too.

I would pay around 5 for them too as long as it included the wiring

'69 Bird stack guages were reproduced about 5 years ago by a fellow in MN. They were avail for around $700. Same fellow reproduced printed circuts for many Pontiac rally guage set-ups, maybe Chris knows more.

Doubt this fello sold a bunch of the stack guage set-ups, or they would still be in production...but only my speculation. Have learned one thing, on limited production items, never know what external forces will stop the supply. Got to get 'em while available vs waiting "for the day" one is ready for them.

Time to start parting and scrapping some Birds if the prices on EBay are that outrageous.

Vinyl top moldings for the 66 and 67 GTO 'S.
Belt line moldings.
Rad. Core supports.
Inner fenders for the same years.....

It would be so much easier to restore a chevy.....
But you wouldn't be COOL !

There is one supplier of '63 Ventura interior that I know of. It would be nice for him to have some competition. Also, I have found no one who produces '63 Catalina interior.
