If you need proof of a market, a set of 4 wheel well mouldings were taken off of E-bay last week when they didn't meet the minimum bid (highest bid was $650). The bumper strips are nearly as bad, with CanAm owners having scooped up every last available NOS 74-76 front or rear bumper strip. We recognize that these cars were not produced in great numbers but the parts mentioned above have been problems to the restorer for over ten years.

Thanks,

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Don't hold your breath.. Although they make sheetmetal for the earlier GTO's, most of it is far from quality. You are better off spending some big $$ for western metal than mess with the cheap, poorly fitting, thin repop metal.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">What parts are you after? Up here in the rust belt, the interiors of the cars fare very well, while the bodies are crusty, rusted garbage.

69 gto dash pad. I really don't want to send 600 to just dashes and I'm not sure bout the covers.

Bumper brackets for 69 hideaways. I think that these are the only parts that are not repro'd.

Iron Ram Air IV heads. Both casting numbers, a variety of casting dates.

Seems several repro. companies make the center console for the 1st gen Firebirds but nobody has the mounting hardware. How about popping the front mounting bracket and rear bushings for these consoles.

I can't believe that nobody has requested repops of 74-78 F-body taillight lenses!

I would also love to see 70-73 taillight lenses, grills.

Also, since there are reproduction RS Camaro Endura bumpers, why can't somebody make a 70-73 Firebird bumper reproduction?

I would also like to see repros of the 70-73 nose emblem(around $200 used) and 70-72 Formula Ram-Air Cleaner bases(as high as $500 on Ebay).

These things would be a great alternative to overpriced originals(usually in bad shape, too).

Oh, and before I forget, how about the 1973 only bumper stabilizer bushings?
