<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Don't hold your breath.. Although they make sheetmetal for the earlier GTO's, most of it is far from quality. You are better off spending some big $$ for western metal than mess with the cheap, poorly fitting, thin repop metal.

Seems several repro. companies make the center console for the 1st gen Firebirds but nobody has the mounting hardware. How about popping the front mounting bracket and rear bushings for these consoles.

Also, since there are reproduction RS Camaro Endura bumpers, why can't somebody make a 70-73 Firebird bumper reproduction?

I would also like to see repros of the 70-73 nose emblem(around $200 used) and 70-72 Formula Ram-Air Cleaner bases(as high as $500 on Ebay).

These things would be a great alternative to overpriced originals(usually in bad shape, too).
