its going to depend on your power level, tires, suspension and track preparation level.....any of which will affect your 60', peg leg or not....

This is definitely a race question in street, BUT, with the right rear gears and proper suspension set up, open carriers can do just as good as limited slip. So it depends entirely upon the car and what its got in it.

FWIW Don't know/don't remember 60ft's my 70 Judge would do, but with 71 455HO, 4speed, 4.56 gears with open carrier, it would run 7.50's in the 1/8th. Front tires catching air on 2nd and 3rd shifts. That was on poly glass tires.

Credit for the performance goes to the guys at H-O Racing in the mid 70's. They picked cam, rear gears, and suspension work. All I had to do was put it together and drive it.

The car did get drove to work every day.
