Default Just how much is a SD worth

Hello= I am a little surprised that the two 74 SD cars recently on e-bay did not sale. The reason that I ask is I just happen to have one. I thought that the 70 grand wasn't that bad of a price. Mine still needs to be finish painted, but is real close. I will post a few pic's of mine. Thanks for any help.

If you would post links to the ebay no-sale cars, we could comment on them.

Just like anything else it depends on the condition, options, color combo...., which equals desirability.
Welcome to the site and I hope you enjoy this forum.

74 SD's rarely bring the large $$ like a nice 73 SD(especially Brewster Green ones) will. If I recall, LloydTx, one of PY members, bought a white 74 recently in the 40-50's.. We all know how rare any SD is, but the market has never rewarded '74 model SD's with strong prices. I think the 70k you mention for a 74SD is high personally, way high..... Then again, that is just my opinion and nothing else..

The market for ALL collector cars has really gotten soft in the past few years.

When the market values were rising.the SD cars seemed to have taken a bigger jump (in value) than alot of other collectible Trans am/Firebirds.

With the current downturn in values, they have taken a bigger hit.
