do they have any sentimental value, there is one near my home, and im getting ready to go ask the owner what they want for the car.
oh yea, it has a 400 tranny so how would i know what type of engine it has?

The 73-77 Grand Prixs are starting to get more attention, but are still fairly inexpensive. Any car could have sentimental value depending on it's owner. The standard engine was a 400, and the Model SJ came with the 455, which was optional in the base Model J. Check the VIN, the 8th character on the 400 is a T, I think the 455 was Y. Tell us more about the car; colors, options, overall condition, etc. Good Luck, Daver
