Grant ,At this point it seems everything is a compromise.I worked that front end all day .the thing is not perfect as the bumper return on one side is overbent and its just a real bitch to get it all lined up the way I want it .Im at the point I can' t keep my hands off it now worked all weekend on it

Man, I love that GP SJ of yours, nice work there on these progress pics ~!

The body and palladium silver paint look awesome, brightwork and emblems are sparkling, and the glass and interior pieces look damned good too. That's gonna be a helluva nice cruiser when it's completed.

WELL.This week end is the 2 year mark and I was hoping to be complete.Im close but still quite a bit to go.I managed to scrach the fender today you can see it in the first picture bums me out.I just have to get it fixed.I got the ac box rebuilt and in and the heater box cleaned and in .Also installed the rear bumper

ACCORDING TO THE SERVICE MANUAL IT HAS TO COME OFF TO CHANGE BLOWER IT LOOKS LIKE IT WILL GO FROM UNDERNEITH. ILL LET YOU KNOW

Well, "to each his own" as they say. That same emblem was installed many years later on a '70 GP that I restored in the early 90's. I actually had a chance to buy the car back a few years ago. That emblem really bothered me and was one of the reasons I didn't buy the car back which ended up being a bigger mistake! If you like it, leave it. The car looks great!!!

IMHO get rid of it, The SJ looks good, I really would rather see a small Royal BobCat emblem than a Hurst, It doesn't look bad but seems out of place to me, IDK Your call

JEEZ! Relax, I wish i was fortunate enough to do mine like yours, and atleast it has a Hurst shifter, Its not bad just NOT MY FAVORITE, When do you think it will be ready for a test drive? You should make a video if you get a chance!
