BIG SETBACK WITH DOORS PLEASE HELP 69 VS 70 OR ELECTRIC VS MANUAL
Well to start off as many of you know Im doin a frame off on my 70 the
thing is Im using the doors and body from a 69.I ran into a big problem
tonite .I went to the bodymans house to deliver the 70 door because I
thought I was going to cut off the little plate that holds the inside
door handle snd swap it.We found out the doors are completly
differant .Im pretty sure the doner body is a manual window car because
the body has no hole in the jam for the electric.
tonite we discovered the whole window tracking system is differant.The
tracks on the 69 are rectangle bars and mine are round posts.Im looking
for a simple solution .my painter is waiting on the doors and the
bodywork is almost complete on the 69 doors.worst case is to cut the
whole inside panel off the 70 doors and graft it onto the 69 door .Will
the 69 manual tracking system work with my windows and motors ?please
