Don't know if I posted this before..... but here's a pic of my '71 looked like when I 1st got it.... The rallys in this picture were on my '76 Trans Am when I 1st got it..... The GP originally had hub caps.

I know I already posted this one but.... well... you get the idea

How it looks today.... The rallys that are on it now were on my '70 Trans Am when I 1st got it. They are 15x7 Wheel Vintique repops with a deeper offset.....

Looks great Bob! Some may not know exactly what they're looking at here... its 1 of 116 428-HO 4-speed GP's built in '69 and this one has manual steering which I think makes it even more interesting. Keep up the great work!

A great driving car... My ole man never does anything with it anymore so I go heist it occassionaly and put miles on it/tune ups etc etc...

I like this forum BTW! First GP forum I have found for old GPs.
Very cool stick GP you have there! Great that you've kept it all these years too...

Here are pics of my 70 red/black SJ

It has 86K origional miles, The 455 and rest of drivetrain are all origional (except the carb) I bought it 4 years ago now from the 2nd owner, was repainted about 25 years ago, hadn't ran or been out of the garage for the past 10-12 years before I bought it. I brought it home changed the fluids and put on a origional # rebuilt carb, and new gas tank and it fired right up didn't smoke, no noises, not even a lifter tick!
For a SJ it's kind of plain jane, having a AM radio, posi, ps, pdb, and A/C. No pw, pl, or even a tilt column.
The interior is really nice on it, door panels, and dash and seats are nice, I had a guy repad the front buckets, and put a headliner in it.
My plans are to have it repainted and having the little rust it has, cut out and weld metal in. (hopefully in a year or 2)

Racer81x, that's a sharp looking '70 SJ you have there! Is it an original Cardinal Red car? Thanks for sharing the photos!

Thanks!, I'm unsure of what the paint is called, I haven't found a buildsheet, and have never sent off for phs. I believe it's the origional color combination, I looked at the tag on the cowl and lower paint code is 75, upper is B. I have a shop manual, but it dosen't give me the paint codes.
