Trunk Spatter Paint
Have been doing a lot of research into Trunk Spatter Paint. There are several premixed solutions available: - Zolatone - The Parts Place - Heartbeat City (Camaro's Plus formula) - RestoParts (Summit, JEGS, etc.) - NPD - Eastwood - GM Trunk Reconditioning spray - Thornton's Guru spray cans All claim to exact per original assembly line spatter paint. Problem is, most all of these produce a dot/speckle fleck and not the stringy, cob-web effect that Lordstown, Van Nuys and other plants applied. Looking for tips, suggestions. Thanks!

I would hazard to guess that once the dark grey base is put down, aqua paint with a large tip and low pressure is used to "spooge" out the flecks, spots, and streaks
