Since mentioning it on a different post, and getting several PM's about it, i figured maybe it would be a good idea to start a post.
So i got my Judge somewhere around 1984. It was missing the original engine and trans, and they guy i got it from kept the rear end. At one point i went and got an engine and trans from the junkyard. By the time i got it put in and wired up, the engine was seized. I was 14-15 at the time, and just got a 72 lemans with the endura front end, so i had better things to do besides work on another car. Shortly after that i bought a 65 gto vert driver, so with 2 cars and beeing a broke kid there was no money or time for the judge. Then as most other people i started a family and the judge sat. I either has no time, or no money for it. 15 years ago i moved from Iowa to Florida, and i just went up and brought it home a few years ago. The car hasn't left that trailer since and that's where i am now. I'm finishing up a couple projects and will be able to get it out soon. The car has a bit of rust over all 4 wheelwells, and a bit starting on the drivers front of the hood. Floors and trunk are perfect. Dash is cracked but the gauges are nice. Interior is all there and decent, but of course will all need recovered. It's been inside since I've owned it. I have been considered trading it for a 67-72 gto because i would like to do a pro-touring type build. Just cant bring myself to do that to a real OO/Sandlewood Judge. I haven't 100% decided on what i want to do yet. I may just restore it and keep it. Anyway. Here are a few of the pics i have. Most other ones i had were lost in a computer crash. |

What would you want to trade it for? I have a 70 GTO convertible getting painted (running and driving) and a completed 70 GTO hard top with judge stripes in Atoll Blue.

Great story and thanks for sharing the pictures and invoice.
Not cutting on you or being mean about it, but why didn't you get the free invoice for it in the late 80's from PMD ? I would have been dying to know if it was maybe an IV car for those 39 years ! |

I was a kid! Didn't even know there was such a thing. I just thought it was a cool car. Never even heard of a RAIV at that time.

Finally got the Judge out of the trailer today. Got to look it over a bit better today. Quarters are rough and the fenders will need at least patched as well. Also one of the hood scoops has a crack. Floors and trunk are perfect. Nothing i haven't seen before. Chrome all looks great as well as the interior besides the seat covers. Rear fender might be fine for a driver, but won't fly for this car.
Also bummed because i thought the keys were in it but they weren't. So that's not great. |

Key codes on the Invoice
Square Key does everything except trunk and glovebox. Give it a try with a good lock and key shop. ![]() |

On the PHS invoice, a few boxes to the right of the VIN. I'm also in Port Orange if anybody needs a set of eyes for anything.
PM sent. |

Strattec sells lock parts and tumblers for 70 Pontiacs.
They have a "distributor locator" online that might help you locate someone close by that is familiar with the codes and could easily cut a key: https:Link to Strattec Lock Parts for 70 LeMans |

I've had a couple guys want to see the data tag so here is that. I also got the trunk opened up today. With some help i decoded what turned out to be a 63'-65' M20 in the trunk. And of course some mouse nest.

Can anyone tell by this if it would be the right radiator for my Judge? It has over spray on it from the repaint. So it's been in there since 83 at least.

I can't access the files to all the 70 Buildsheets I have right now.
But that BO code is ringing a bell for sure. Someone will come along with a better answer before too much longer. |

BO is the standard radiator for manual transmission GTOs with the standard, RAIII or 455 engines.
