12 bolt rear cover torque and tightening sequence ?
Anyone advise torque and tightening sequence for 12 bolt cover ?..

Forget the gasket, use black rtv, and torque the bolts in a crisscross pattern to 18-20 ft lbs.

x2 on ditching the gasket if your using it and just using gasket maker to seal it up.
How well it seals up when using a gasket or not is all still fully a matter of how clean and free from oil both sealing surfaces are.
