Default 400 block

Is a 1969 400 block without a crank have any value an if so how much Thank You 1 hammerman

First of all, welcome to the forum. Value depends on a lot of things. Most importantly, does someone need that particular block for a correct restoration. You will need to get the block code (two letter code on the passenger side front of the block near the timing cover) the block casting number (located on the the rear passenger side of the block, just below the head) and the block date code (located near the distributor hole) A119 for example would be Jan. 11, 1969

Here is a great website to help you locate and decipher the codes needed to idenitify Pontiac blocks and heads.
