Well Here are some sad pic's of the 4-speed wagon as bought many years ago, the car is the rustiest car I have ever tried to restore.
The car is pre PHS documented as a 400 4bbl duel exhaust 4-speed car, with a HD M-20 wide ratio Muncie (I know that an M-20 in not a HD trans like the M-22, but evedently the full size cars, and the 73 Lemans Wagons go a heavier duty M-20 with the larger M-22 output shaft, and the fine spline input shaft. As that is what my numbers matching trans has) Posi 8 7/8" rear axle with 3.42 gears (actually found 3.23 gears installed in it when it was rebuilt) Rally Gauges, A/C, AM/FM Stereo, Pwr Steering and breaks, Pwr windows and Locks, rear window Defogger. It is a 2-seat wagon with a bench seat. Base 14" wheels, with Dog dish hubcaps.
All body panels with the exception of the front fenders and header panel were rusted beyond saving. So I bought an unfortunate plain white doner car, that car was a 350 2bbl car, with almost no options with the exception of the Nasa Hood, and rear window air deflector (both will be added to the 4-speed car)
The 4-speed car has a $8.00 charge for export to Hamburg Germany, I was unable to track its sales records beyond a GM Dealer in Hamburg that went out of Buisness in the early 80's. The car had the remains of serveral USAF parking stickers on the front Bumper.
Unfortunatly I had just gotten around to welding the last of the sheet metal to the car, 6 yeas ago when I became unemployed. The car got pushed to the back of storage, and has never been touched again. It is now #3 car to finish, after my Astre, then my Wifes 71 Lemans Wagon.
