Funny how these threads get twisted isn't it? As I recall bauerdan asked a simple Q - yes?

Not everyone needs to be - or cares to be - schooled about the macinations of perfection by self appointed "internet experts".

Point: if anyone asks for a source for a Rad hose on a Pontiac on other model sections of PY, usually a simple solution is provided.

Let's leave the unobtainium NOS stock for those that feel the need and continue to assist newcomers here seeking a simple solution to a simple question as to where to purchase a Rad hose. Which IIRC PontiacDaver provided in Spades.

Keep it classy!

For my part, all I was trying to do is provide an option I know is available other than the OE hose. I wasn't trying to insult anyone. It would seem we have successfully run bauerdan off, his last post was #5. I did notice he has been a member since May 2011 but only has 5 total posts.

Why are we so fixated on this post and if I ran this guy off? I'm just waiting for Frank Johegen to kiss your ass again for the fourth time and praise you for the information provided to purchase a hose that the Original Poster apparently did not want. In my first post, I clearly stated that the aftermarket hoses were available at NAPA or CARQUEST. If the OP was satisfied with that, he would have said thank you and moved on. However, the OP wanted to be smart, so he received a somewhat curt response. Frank likes to taunt because I refuse to agree with him on his inane crusade on NACA hoods. He says keep it classy. He wouldn't know the term if it hit him on the head.

Too Funny!

Sounds like another example of Car Czar Sydrome!
http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...=1#post4992939

"Inane crusades" are only validated if "czars" agree with the topic or point of view.

Ex: Not a single PONTIAC document using NACA as the description has been submitted, instead of the plethora of NASA documentation posted and used by PONTIAC. Topic link http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=653766
Due to some “expert” disagreeing with PONTIAC using the term it is labeled an “inane crusade”, really?

A rant about a Rad hose with the correct numbers and calling others “A$$” etc. is much more your a$$ mode speed Rick.

Good Day. Keep it classy!

So by now, can you feel the "Love" here?

You'll find the same "personalities" at this link http://users.boardnation.com/~abodysite/

Don't worry about all of the "noise" here (and there) just enjoy your '73!

Wow Rick, I never said YOU ran him off, I never posted seeking anyone's approval. I was just trying to help a fellow board member. Honestly, even though I have been selling automotive parts (aftermarket) for 38 years, I didn't know the OE hose on A-bodies was different in appearance than the aftermarket one.
It looked to me that you contradicted yourself in your reply, when you directed me to the thread that showed the differences, I acknowledged your point. I have always respected your knowledge of the 73-77 A-bodies.
I've bought parts from you, and hope to again, and you've been very helpful with questions I've had, but I don't appreciate you sticking me in the middle of your feud with another member when all I was doing was trying to help someone out.

Apparently, 73-77 A-body enthusiasts are not only cheap f**ks, but also suffer from chapped asses whenever they're called out for having poor reading comprehension, or for being smart asses.

Well I was having a problem with someone on this site & thought it was Rick, & it wasn't, but I made a comment awhile back, but just last week from Rick I recieved a threat from him to post what I had said back then now we seem to be having a problem which started on another site so I told him IF it was him I would be more then happy to give him a tune up in my own right. Just last week you can see my reply about his little tantrum with the other member here. Rick then sent me a message saying he would show everyone who the ass is here, & he I'm sure think he has scared me off, but as you can see he made an empty threat as it was posted & then erased from the post shorhtly after he posted so no one else would see him threaten me. Now Rick may know a lot about the 73-77 cars but He in my opinion comes off as an ass most of the times when he comes back & posts a comment. You guys are all back peddleing when you say anything negitive about Rick. Are you guys all afraid of him. Again he may have a good grasp on the 73-77 cars but no one has the right to slam everyone one a site just because they don't know as much as someone else. To me he is just a bad tempered know it all that has to make everyone around him feel small to make himself feel better. Well thats not what these forums are about & he needs to realize it. But he's old & is stuck in his sour ways & won't ever change so I hope everyone just lets him know we don't have to take that kind of attitud from people like him. So there you go Rick post away, you'll feel better after your next rant. I don't care how much he knows , an ass is always an ass & is someone I don't want to be around. Now go ahead pull what weight you said you have & try to do your worst, but remember I'll out live you & I don't care how much you know & anything I need to know someone else will have the same info you have somewhere.

Another positive comment and impression from you Mr. Baker? Doubtful.

Looks like "The Car Czar" again needs you to "correct the facts & set things straight" for the rest of us - "the great unwashed 1973-77 ABody wanna bees". Not really.

Take a break and give it a rest, before you embarrass yourself again with your default "douchebag" comments.

Agree Rex.

And IIRC - I still have the deleted threat to you that you mentioned in my inbox and saw it when it was originally posted on this thread.

Also, while we're on the subject, and worth mentioning here - both Rick and Brain Baker were the ones who posted name calling and totally negatives about Pete and the (Pete's) ABody website when Pete transitioned it to a zero $ cost website. "After all he should have consulted them 1st!" So it seems from their rants & name calling of Pete.

Rick for 1 knows those comments live on forever on the web. http://users.boardnation.com/%7Eabodysite/. They justified it to themselves buy name calling of the creater, owner, facilitator and money man - Pete.

This is the kind of attitude that really isn't needed. And to think THIS is the POCI rep for 1973-77 A-Body Pontiacs. Really?

Car Czar!

Ouch.. that really hurts.

I stand behind everything I have said, about this thread, Rex's threats of bodily harm to me, and the A body site demise. If you don't like my attitude, complain to POCI. After you do that, there is the ignore feature. I know you won't use it, because you like to stir up crap at the drop of a hat. Always have, always will. Must be some slow, boring days in Texas.

Funny you would accuse me here again. Especially because of my calling you out for YOUR name calling statements here on this thread, and most others. Your attitude stinks.

Anyone who can read can see for themselves your posts here, starting @ post 12 your style of default name calling tag once again with your concurance on post 13 and after "because someone did something you didn't agree with".
