Default 73-75 GTO/GRAND AM RAM AIR SYSTEM

WELL IT'S FINALLY READY. THE completed reproduction WU3 RAM AIR SYSTEM is done. It took longer than expected due to many delays. So I will be listing it on Ebay within a couple of days, got to get pictures and set up listing. I am selling thru Ebay because I have had quite a few people interested and I think it's only fair to give everyone a chance. It will be a fully functional system. It will include the CUSTOM LID, AIR CLEANER BASE, HOOD PAN, SCOOP GRILLS, FOAM SEALS, FUNCTIONAL PARTS, SOLENOIDS ,WIRING HARNESS, ETC. CARBURETOR LINKAGE ,DRAIN TUBE AND YOUR CHOICE OF RAM AIR (FENDER) STICKERS WHITE,BLACK OR RED. It looks better than mine !

This is great news! Now if this could get mass produced(30-50 sets). Thanks for taking the time to produce them.

Will this work only with stock intake and Quadrajet? Just curious as I have a stock 70 400 manifold and Demon carb with 1/2" spacer so it is just a tad higher than stock.

Thx.

I could easily see sales of 30-50 units if price is reasonable

Yes only one for now. All hand made takes time, I build it when I can , trying to setup more jigs to help form quicker. So everything takes time. If I worked on it all day everyday than it would be great, but I can't . As for fitting other setups ???? stock height with stock carb is what I built it for, may fit other carbs but not sure. Original set up was vacuum/electric I can not find any proper vacuum switch's so , it's been set up via throttle position like 70-72 trans am . I will be supplying the the carb position sensor switch and wiring harness's , even with this the primary butterfly shaft may have to be changed ? it worked on my carb but other q-jets , and other manufactures? So you may need to get a 70-72 primary butterfly shaft for the Rochester quads. I tried to supply all the parts required for a stock setup but there may be differences . I'm starting to build another one so it should be quicker. This is the first one for sale WU3-002

I'm glad someone jumped in with a set-up. I have been running a set-up similar. But with a manual shutter on the top piece on the hood. Personally all the chatter kept me from spilling my system out. I have to say that when I step down on it it is like flipping a nitrious switch. Be ready to fly!
