Could this be made with 3D-printing or are the parts too big?
Size is no problem. The lid is a bit under 24x24x6. The most important consideration would be to select material that can handle 250°F under-hood temperatures. The original material was 30% glass-filled polypropylene which is good to about 300°. Pretty sure you can print that but it wouldn't be cheap. Next time I talk to my 3D printer dealer, I'll ask.

Even at $1526, Ramairman isn't profitting a lot with the amount of time invested in building it.

Question is, will there be anymore made?

Yes I will building another one starting in September Serial WU3-003. Got to do things around the house and spend time with my wife and sometime with the car. Only had it out once since the good weather started. Got some electrical things to fix interior dome light, and reverse lights. I will let you know . Building better jigs to produce quicker. Thanks for the interest .

IIRC - the person to have that info for sure is the OP poster and clone system creator "1973ramairman" yes?

Perhaps purchaser prefers to remain anonymous?

1973ramairman, are you making any more systems? I got a guy bugging me to buy my parts to copy them. I told him I would help him, but my parts aren't for sale. Says he's a master at metal fabrication, so he might be a good guy to know.
