Carpet install?
Posted this on the interior section, but thought some of you may have had experience...
I found procedures online for cutting the L around seat bracket's, but how about the large pad for rear seat bracket that houses the seat belt retractor? The rear outside seat bracket on the 73 A-body sits on top of the seat belt retractor, which is mounted to the floor. What is the proper way to cut carpet around this piece? Thank you! I poked a hole in the carpet where the bolt goes and used a razor blade to cut out a square big enough for the bolt to go through. Might not be the correct way, but it works and you can't see anything when it's all bolted up.
