I’ve owned the car since 2016 and put approximately 13,000 miles on it, I recently divorced and new living circumstances mean I unfortunately need to part ways with my baby as I don’t have a garage. The GTO is being stored at my brother’s home in Carlsbad, CA.

The car drives well and runs cool. You can make road trips with confidence.

I have a clean title for the vehicle.

Terrifying I know.

I've had the car parked in my brothers one-car garage for 1 year due to the fact I don't have a garage anymore post divorce. I didn't get any inquiries on this forum, Craigslist, Offerred up, Hemmings, or Hagerty... One needs to learn to move on... I just showed the car to a local gentlemen who saw the car on BAT. Retired guy who's first car was a '67 GTO. Ends up we know some of the same people. I took him for a cruise and had a great time hearing his life story... This kind of experience is what makes these cars special.

I WILL GET BACK INTO A PONTIAC!!!!! It's not over!

I would have loved the car to go to a local Pontiac guy.... It may happen, let's see.

Hey, I've had two people comment that my front seat upholstery is backwards, can anyone comment? If yes, can I swap the upper portion of the seats?

Nice car! Good luck! Most of my bidding happened in the last three hours. If I wouldn't of had a reserve, I woulda thrown up. Lol!

Yes , the uppers are upholstered backwards.
Most people get the lowers backwards.
Both patterns should match the rear seat.

I'm not 100% sure if a switcharoo is possible to correct.
But definitely worth investigating closer.

Congrats on the sale. The lucky BaT buyer I see not only got your car but that nice 1964 GTO tripower for just $37k --- killer bargain buy there too!!

Wondering why that 1964 sold for so little...

I saw that and spoke with the buyer. They are a dealer in Northern Ohio.

I was shocked the '64 went for so little, it was definitely more "pure" than my car. I felt $55-65K was reasonable for my car, so I am a bit disappointed obviously. They got a hell of a GTO for $40K.

Congrats on your sale wbnapier .
Thankfully the bids got better in the last hour.

That 64 was a steal.
But 64's in general have become a very streamlined market.
The tire/wheel combo was weak to me.
Color not one of the better ones , but not one of the worst either.
Shame it got color changed.
Pics were not really flattering.
Its hard to get everything right.

Only a handful of smaller items needed correcting on it.
Few and far between to find an original TriPower 4spd that is still that honest.

I agree with the tire wheel combo hurting that ‘64, some 14x6 steel wheels with either dog dish caps or better yet spinner caps would’ve made it look ten times better. Those Cragars sticking out up front like that just ruined the look of that GTO.

That buyer bought 5 cars on BaT today , from 30k-50k
He got great deals on both the GTO's he bought.
