Do the seats recline all the way or is there a built in stop? I'm asking because I'm in the middle of retro-fitting a set into my 67 and they only seem to go back a little past verticle.

Just wondering if I was missing something...

Thanks
TJ

Just checked mine (driver's side). It looks like it goes back to about 40° or so.

Mine is about the same (40-45°). I think it may be limited due to the power of the motor. They are very heavy seats and they don't power up easily from the fully reclined position.

Hmmm... Mine didn't seem to go back that far..
Thanks for the replys, now I've got something to compare to. I'll be happy with 45 degrees.

And you aren't kidding about the seats being heavy....But they are comfortable.

Oh, one more question... What does the button beneath the handle do? The one with the two arrows pointing away from one another.

I'm assuming the handle only raises the seat for access to the rear seat but doesn't affect the reclining feature.

If the seat back is tilted forward, that button moves the seat forward on the tracks. If the seat back is in the "back" position, it moves the seat to the rear of the tracks. It's used to let folks in and out of the rear seat.

OK, that makes sense now. I was trying to figure out how to 'rocker' the button to get either forward or backwards. I couldn't seem to get it to be consistent, but I wasn't paying attention to the position of the seat back. (I was probably busy holding wires to that spare battery.)

Thanks
