I got the VIN stamps off the block and trans, which match the VIN of the car. The rear is a COX stamp, but I couldn't get a decent pic of it.
I got in the trunk today and found another KR stamped wheel, for a total of 5 JW's and 2 KR's. There's also this nifty little light on the bottom of the trunk lid, and I think it's operated with a little toggle switch on the trunk latch area.

Glad to see Rick's car went to a good home. I spoke with him a couple of years ago about buying it but he gave me the story about "knowing what it's worth, didn't know where the keys were, everybody wants it for $1000" , etc. and didn't seem to believe I was really interested. I moved to Wakefield in 1997 and have been watching that car ever since!
A friend of mine used to work on it way back when it was on the road so he may have some history you don't know. If I remember correctly, Rick bought it off a priest in Melrose in the 80's. I recall the Priest had the TA and a early 70's Corvette as well. My kind of Priest!

I saw it there in person with the original white shaker, and hte movie used red shaker... As well as Clint Eastwoods registration; Apparently he liked the car so much, that he bought it after filming was wrapped up, and drove it for a while.

I was there in the summer of (I believe) 2003;
It looks like they do not advertise their museum - and it also looks as though the inventory has probably changed, so who know's if that car is still there; I have a brochure that shows the car as being a part of that museum... maybe if a local frequents here they can say what is currently a part of the museum. It's in the 'Celebrity Hotel; Museum & Gaming' according to the brochure I have, but it was called 'Nelson's garage car and motorcylce museum'. My brochure says that Clint owned the white '73 Trans Am for seven years.

Picked up a set of 70 seats from a fellow member the other day. They need foam and covers, but the tracks and frames are very nice.

Is this the project you are working on now or are you finishing your Recaro edition first?
