AC bracket differnce: 70-72, 73-79

put an Edelbrock 2156 intake on my '71 455. The mounting holes for the upper, rear compressor bracket are in the wrong place. I looked online and found that 70-71 has a different bracket than 72-79. Since Edelbrock advertises their intake to fit 65-79, I wonder if maybe they designed the intake for the 73-79 intake. If this is true, instead of modifying a bracket, I could just got a 73-79 and it would bolt up.
