Kind of a crappy vid I did a while ago. I am actually going to be changing my setup in the future.

Is that the road paver cam in there Darby? It sounds pretty beefy! What all have you done to the motor since it's gone in the bird?

My only sound is the old retired wagon in 2010 before the wreck. It'll sound different in the 65 next year!
The link in my sig is all I have.....
Iron headed, 60245, RPM and Quad, Dougs 1 3/4 headers, 3" pypes w/X, race pros, and 3" tails.

Ron Yes it is!, The Wagon motor going in the 65 huh? The only thing different is some 1 7/8 hedman hustler's on it now.So next year instead of the 1 3/4 dougs and dumping after the X Will be those hedmans with a 3 1/2 x out the X then flowmaster reducer cones to 3" Ultra flows and then 3" torque tech tail pipes, No more open exhaust. SO it will be interesting to see how it runs with all that. Even so I am sure at some point it will be faster and will want the bigger exhaust if it doesn't now, but somehow i think it will love it!

I got a cool CD for Tom Hand years ago that had sounds of all the different mufflers with and without x pipe, at different RPMs and revving. It also had flow tests on the mufflers. It was worth 10 times what I paid for it. Don;t know if it is still available or not.

Sound check of my old dual "raggar" exhaust 2 1/4" with Raptor mufflers, Firebird 1968 406CuI #13 heads Sum 2802(?) and logs. Will change to a 2 1/2" system. Have a set of RA manifold layin in the garage but might be going for headers instead.

Thumbs up 3 1/2 Pypes X with 3" Ultraflows

As promised here is a video of the new exhaust and it sounds damn good! and is very quiet!! It's loudest at idle!! Never mind the smoke still clearing itself of the trans fluid in motor....Pic later of install Enjoy!!

3" Torque tech tailpipes, I couldn't believe how quiet it was, back when i tried the 2 1/2 ultra's on the grand it was loud, I had a 3" X pipe into those with 2 1/2 tails, this 3 1/2 is super quiet! To be honest this motor feels like I added 50 hp!! The overlap is so much more pronounced in the idle now. I love it. They are as tight as can be to floor to ,but do hang a little low, but what can u expect for that big of pipes! I should borrow my buddy's db meter sometime.

Here is the 1st video I took of the GT-37 after I got it running with the new Melling cam.
Stock 2" front exhaust pipes and Cherry Bomb turbo mufflers. No tail pipes. Ignition timing not set as of yet.

Click on the photo to start the video.

Here is the same igition timing with the new Pypes stainless steel Street Pro system with splitters, Believe it or not it sounds even better now with the ignition timing more advanced now. It has a real nice hollow camming sound.

Click on the photo to start the video.

I ended up with a 1/4 gap at the top of the drivers collector ,cause the bullets were hitting the bottom of the floor by tunnel, this was just to hear how it sounded it with them, I will change it or just get a New X I haven't decided yet, But it sounds good! When I revved it the smoke is from dumping trans fluid down my carb from before to store it, and the mic kinda gets muffled when it is revved up too. This was just a test tho as its 50 here today !! Turn up the volume! . It's put away now til spring
