Default Quietest clutch fan blade.
What do you all have experience with the quietest blades for a clutch fan, that doesn't sound like a bus on takeoff with the AC on?

Default Quiet fan blade
I have been running the fan from a 76 trans am
That originally was auto with air. I use the Hayden
Standard duty fan clutch and it’s as quiet as a mouse
Both on highway and off. Using factory AC pulleys to
Overdrive fan aswell. Only see a few degrees over
Stat temp on highway on a long run. Come off highway
And back to stat temp!! It is a 7 blade staggered blade fan.

Thanks '68 Firebird. I will find a 7 blade staggered fan blade. I have the 6 blade fan on one of my cars, and although it cools well, it is quite loud at highway speed..

On my '66, I use a 19.5" six-blade fan. To my knowledge, it's not a GTO part, but it was on my car when we bought it in the mid-90s. Works very well and does not make any noise even with with the HD fan clutch sold by Ames. It's also the very largest fan I can fit in the shroud, so I like knowing that I'm maximizing the available space.

Loud means lots of airflow. Hopefully you don't have any cooling issues

Installed a 7 blade fan instead of the 6 blade.. It is a lot quieter.
