True to form, I messed up and had to do part of this over.

In my enthusiasm, I failed to recognize this section between ashtray and radio cutout had been rolled over:




Doh!

So I had to break some welds, make best effort at straightening, and tack it back down. Better now, and this time I managed to make some real welds. I also blew a hole that I may have to patch, but I'm good with it..



Overall, is a lot closer now, but figure I'll need to fill the ripples before I paint. Was the paint on this lower half a semi-gloss black or ????
