SHOW and TELL; GM ST-200 Analyzer
Picked up local and just for grins will restore. We know it has no real value but it will be a neat piece of Garage Art.
We have confirmed the part in question IS part of this unit but have no idea what it is for? My best guess is that this adjustable rod is used to hold accelerator pedal at a certain RPM while testing is being conducted. The first 3 pictures are of the part. It is aprox 18" with an adjustable rod also about 18", shown with adjusting wheel with the outer tip slightly pointed. There is no numbered scale on the rod for adjustments. The "stationary" end has an aprox 4"x 6" curved "Plate" This again IMO could be used to rest against the seat bottom while the tech adjust the wheel/rod out to pin the pedal at desired RPM range. Any past GM tech here recall this part? Cheers.
