Engine-Ear, the building is an Indaco out of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Cost of the building itself including all of the structure, sheetmetal, one walk through door and insulation was right at 20k not including installation or concrete.

Also, I'm not sure what that was flying over the shop in the picture. Even when I zoom in on the original, I can't tell.

If I were you, I'd send that to NASA!! Almost looks like a Stealth bomber.

well fellas ill post my little dinky garage when my new pc gets here and i can upload a few pics to say iam kinda jealous is an understatement. i have a 2 car garage that has been shortened for the laundry room before i got here so if the car isnt running i have to jack the back up once pulled in and set it on wheel dollies to push it in at an angle if it is running i can wiggle it in there but it takes some finess and once in i could work on the inside and the bottom but not under the hood since i cant walk aroun the car best i can do is put my chair next to the car tinker with something small and off the car then put it back straight with the back end outside to put it back on but its better than what i had when i stripped it down to nothing and firts started and a new detched garage will be in the future

thanks...this shop is part of our fam's attached 3-car garage, separated with a partition. It's extra deep 24' and about 14' wide. Exterior flake plywood on the walls, sheet rock ceiling. I guess you could call it a side garage.

We have a pole building, but it's not insulated, so I moved my shop last fall to the house so I could work the winter and summer. After cleaning the it out, we painted, more lights, added gas heat, cheap window a/c unit, 220V, shop air lines, work bench and cabinets. I can get the car in there, but it mainly sits out in the pole building.

Some day I'd like to insulate the pole building, but the quote was over $10 thou to do it.

Default My garage is a third stall addition to our house

This is my garage, it's 16 by 30 with a 10 ft garage door and an entry door to the back yard. It's insulated and drywalled and has knotty pine trim and the entire cathedral ceiling is finished in knotty pine. I placed 110 volt outlets every 4 ft and placed 220 volt welder outlets at the frt and rear walls. I have four 8 ft high output flourecent fixtures hanging from the ceiling and 10, four ft fixtures on the side walls. Plus there is plenty of natural light that comes in the gable area which is all glass. I installed a wash tub with hot and cold water, 60 gallon air compressor with copper air lines the length of the shop. It also has a tv hooked up to the dish, and a stereo with speakers mounted in the corners. Cabinets and tool carts are by Whirlpool Gadiator Garageworks.

It's kind of in disarray right now with bringing in another car and parts. Eventually one of the back sheds will be used for parts storage.

Now THAT'S a nice, neat, organized shop! I like the floor design with the darker color for each bay. How'd you do that? Just a diffferent color and tape it off?

Thanks.

I had the floors epoxy coated, I thought it was to much solid gray so we taped off the bays for the darker color. We mixed sand in the epoxy to keep it from being to slick.
