Default A/C Evaporator case to cowl seal

For those who have had their evaporator case out, what is used for a seal between the side opening where the air flows through to the cowl? A form of some sort i suspect....what did you use specifically?

Usually a foam seal. I ordered some closed cell foam from McMaster Carr and made my own.

Mine was a glob of gooey rubber. No repro at the time I did mine. Jury rigged my own with closed cell weatherstripping.

Copy on the gooey rubber. Ordered some closed cell foam to work into the gap.
