Does anyone know if there is a performance computer chip available for my friends 2000 Grand Prix?

the 94[?] and newer cars don't use proms[chip] for memory. the specs are actually burnt into the pcm. to change the specs he'll have to have the powertrain module recalibrated.
i read somewhere there is a company in california that is working with these cars to gain performance. the article was in popular hot rodding or hot rod or one of those mags. mike

Have your friend check out SLP. They are tuning some GTPs and calling them GTX (I think that is it)
Anyways - SLP would be a good place to start |
