I've got an '89 Firebird I'm looking to modify. I'd like to eventually upgrade the engine, suspension, clutch, shifter...the works. Because of the costs involved, I'm trying to do it bit by bit. Does anyone know (or know where to get) information on what kind of performance can be expected from '89 firebird stock parts. I don't want to drop a 350 engine in my car only to have the rear axle incapable of handling the torque.
