Anyone else think there is something wrong with the interior?

Seat covers are incorrect. Looks like they just used standard silver vinyl and stitched it however they wanted.

Steering wheel looks like I repaired it with a needle and thread...

Other items look fairly worn as well, for a car listed just below $20,000.

Basically,I think that car is kind of a "turd" with a decent paint job.

Whoever buys this car will be somebody that doesn't know ANYTHING about Trans ams or TATA's.

Originally a "K" car but olds 403 replaced with a "non-descript" Pontiac V8? (NO mention of THAT in auction description)

Not neccessarily a bad thing, but originality & #'s match is GONE.

Somebody cheaped out & put those cheesy Camero silver seat covers on.

Dash has a big crack, carpet is shot, door panels are puckered & the steering wheel looks like Dr. Frankensteins work.

Also note that the expensive & impossible to find factory Delco stereo has been replaced with a cassette deck.

It appears to have 4wd springs in it & WHERE do they find those oddball/off brand tires???

On a GOOD day,that's a 10,000 dollar car,maybe?

It appears to be a "high end" dealer selling it.

Don't know why they would put that one in the showroom. (it should be in the back row of the side lot)

This 10th would be a GREAT candidate for a "pro-touring car" with a big HP Pontiac motor hidden under the hood, but not at THAT price.

What he said. There is LOTs wrong with that car that is not noted in the description. I wonder if maybe it is a theft recovery? The pieces that are wrong are the ones that a thief might steal (engine, interior). I agree, it would make for a nice project car but it's far removed from collector status.

As far as the suspension - I think that maybe the "sitting up" aspect is inherent in those cars, it's one of the things i've noticed about my daughters 10 anniversary that we are restoring. It "sits up" a couple of inches higher than I remember my own 79 doing.

It looks like a "donk" with those springs in it. 2 really nice tata's sold at mecum that were original cars for less $ than that in the spring.

It makes no sense at all to put that much into making the car look nice and not make the seats as original. The cushions and covers are available and would increase the value of the car. I think this is a relist. He will have a hard time getting that car sold.

Rear spoiler is a mess too. The rear window mouldings are supposed to be black like the windshield. And PepBoys floormats to boot. It wouldn't surprise me at all that it could be a clone. Or a very poor restoration. What a piece of crap.

Brand new it was a $10,000 car..... like this I wouldn't give any more than $6500 tops. Whoever buys this needs the big S branded on their forehead..... Sucker.

Nice Paint on a terd of a car. He'll be sitting with that baby for a long time at that price. Who knows, maybe he's the one who got hosed on it? The T/A-T/A's have their "higher" value in ones with originality. That is clearly gone.......

Love the map holder pockets just behind the front seats. Ha!
