What year is the engine? From 1971 on Pontiac put hardened valve seats in their engines so the lead isn't necessary, and even on cars older than that as long as the car is driven normally I've never personally heard of anyone having problems with valve seat recession.

Thumbs up

You're OK, as it's a 1972. If you just GOTTA have some lead, hit the local small airport with a 5-gallon can and buy some aviation 100LL. BE SURE to put the ground wire clip on the can while pumping the gas.

A coupla gallons of avgas will fix ya right up, and it's a whole lot cheaper.

No need for lead. That engine was built for unleaded gas, and it only has 8:1 compression so it shouldn't have any problems running on regular gas today.
