Default FS 4 barrel air cleaner

Factory 4-barrel air cleaner in excellent condition with no dents or rust pitting. These make a great high-performance air cleaner, the air cleaner base has a smooth curved inlet shape unlike most drop-base aftermarket air cleaners. The large wide snorkel can be also hooked up to flex hose for a cold air setup. (included)

These air cleaners came on '73 and later cars, however they will fit on the earlier cars as well.

$200 for everything including flex duct hose and attachment shipped, paypal accepted +3%
Please send me a PM if you're interested, thanks.

any chance you can measure the amount of drop the base has? & looks like it doesnt have the indent to clear HEI distributors, was this on an HEI car to know it cleared? thanks.

ok thanks, just curious because the air cleaners on hei cars have a very noticeable indent to clear the big hei cap.

if you can measure the drop that would help me & possibly others determine if it will work for their car/hood clearance.

The last time I tried to post pictures, they didn’t post. If you don’t mind me jacking your thread, it gives me a chance to see what’s up with the failed picture posting, and it provides an example of the same breather on a 69 Firebird with a hei.

Notice the open-element option. The feds got wind of the quick-flip emission delete and passed a law that emission equipment must be manufactured so that it cannot be assembled incorrectly.
