Default molding

How was the door bumpers that ran down the side of the body line listed on the manifest sheet on 1970 firebirds. I've only seen 2 1970 formulas that had this and a few esprits was it not popular on formulas.

my 72 sheet lists them as vinyl body side mldngs-Black insert. Code 494 UPC is B84. N/A with accent stripes or on TA. Think I may have seen a few on Esprit's

There was a discussion here on this topic in June and from the information we had gathered, it appears that body side moldings were not available from the factory on Firebirds in 1970. They didn't become an option on second generation Firebirds until 1971.

Jim.
