Default 66 factory tach wire connection at the firewall

Does anyone here have a way to post a picture of the brown wire that goes to the coil where it comes through the firewall on a 66 full size?

My 66 assembly manual has it drawn as kind of a square or rectangular connection but I thought it was a grommet similar to the back up lamp wire grommet in the trunk floor. I know assembly manuals to be pretty accurate normally but I'm not trusting it this time.

This is on a Canadian car but I am betting it will be the same, the tach is identical.

Thanks.

That would be excellent, thanks. You have a factory tach car?

Is that on a 66 full size Pontiac? That's not at all what I was expecting. I thought it was a connection through the firewall over beside the brake booster.

Yes, that looks similar to the drawing in the assembly manual. Wow, I've never seen anything like it. That isn't reproduced that you know of, is it?

No idea if it's reproduced. That one was NOS from Ebay.

This was all I had to go by. (Hopefully the picture attaches). It's the drawing from the 66 B body assembly manual.

I could tell it was beside the two firewall harness connectors and that is was rectangular, that was all. It's in the picture, lower right, just above the text box at the bottom of the page. Sure looks like what you posted. Thanks very much once again.

One more tach question. I can't find the fuse size listed anywhere. I am trying to figure out what fuse goes in the fuse holder that comes off the ignition coil.

69TA what is that connector behind the distributor? I'm rewiring my car with a tach and don't remember that?

That's just a junction box for cars with Transistorized Ignition.
