Default Dark Saddle Metal Paint for WIndshield Pillar Covers/Rear Seat Armrest Panel Ext.

Does anyone know what the correct color paint/manufaturerer for interior metal pieces (i.e. interior windshield pillar covers and rear seat armrest panel extensions) for a 1970 GTO with Dark Saddle interior?

Got the SEM vinyl/plastic paint, but need something for metal. Wondering if anyone has done this before and knows, before I go to paint stores with a pillar and trying to match the cap?

Thanks for any help.

Good luck on matching factory colors,,,i had a heck of a time on my 70 saddle interior. Bought many cans that were supposed to be correct but werent. The closest i found was paint from kolor korrect. It was very very close to factory.

Yeah, don't try to match it, buy enough to do everything. Stuff that is in good condition mist coats will work.

I have a couple of the old PPG color charts with the little paint (chip) samples. On the back are the codes. I took one to my auto body supply guy and he mixed up a couple rattle cans for me from the code, no problem.

Hey CNC, I got your message.
Actually, a couple of peoole sent me messages asking what I was talking about.
Below is a listing on ebay for the paint chips. On the back are the codes for the exterior or interior colour. Of course, mine was for a '66. That's what my paint guy used to mix up some paint for my red interior. It was right on the money.
