Just got back from work coming home that way in the Grand Prix.

It's starting to come alive down there. Seeing nice cars all over the place (ie not on Woodward).

We’re going to down by 13 mile, and get a Duggans carry out and eat curbside tomorrow, if it doesn’t rain that is.
I went to a show in Utica saturday, it was a nice show. They had a small swap meet, mostly gas stuff, it hey, a swap is a swap. Lol
I’ll post some pics, last year someone took my thread down so I didn’t post any pics.

I miss our old club, Royal Pontiac Club of America, because we used to meet at Little Daddy's restaurant at around 18 and Woodward on the Thursday evening before Saturdays Dream Cruise. We would hang out there for a while and then do a loop.

Years ago, on a Thursday night of Dreamcruise, Jim Wangers came in with friends to eat at little daddy’s, he had the Tiger outside.
I bought a pin tonight, ive got them back to the first Cruze. Sunday you get shirts at half off, I’ll wait on my shirt. Here’s a few pics

Jim was good friends with Eric Shiffer, the president of the Royal club. He came to a few of our events over the years when he was in town. He was interesting to talk to.

Rain didnt last. Chicken shack ribs are the bestest! Bring napkins and ice for clean up.

I went last night (Thursday). Not a great experience, land locked at a crawl as soon as I got on. Quite a few nice cars but couldn’t see much around all the tall SUV’s and minivans crowding the lanes. With my water temps kind of hovering around 200 (normally the car runs about 180) I bailed after about three miles of the 2-3mph crawl. For my local friends, I got on at Maple and bailed at 12 Mile. My cruise North from 96 on Telegraph was quite enjoyable, however. Can’t imagine what Saturday will be like….

I got tix to the M1 complex for tonight and tomorrow. I tried to get a few to go but they won’t spent $100 on a ticket. I’ll post some pics, tours, food, parking, looking forward to it. Check out the link below.

We hit the north end of Pontiac about 7 pm and made it to Fabulous Ferndale before bailing.

Planing to head out again tonight.

I went out at 4 pm yesterday. I entered Woodward at 16 mile and went north around Pontiac. I made it back to 696 and Woodward at just before 7pm. My son worked until 7 and I picked him up in Royal Oak at Main and 4th. We went north until they shut it down at 9 pm. We made it to just north of 13 mile. We had a blast. It was good to see so many cool and unusual vehicles. It was warm and slow. I saw about 215* on coolant temp but never over heated.
