Default Pontiac Powered Non Pontiac at Norwalk

Asking for a friend. Would it be accepted if a 67 Chevelle powered by a PONTIAC 428 raced at Norwalk?

Yes he should be able to race, since it says Pontiac body and/or Pontiac engine. Photo attached is from the race webpage.

FWIW, back in the early 2000s there was a Toyota Land Cruiser with a Pontiac in it, went by the name of the "Oriental Indian". He drag raced it for 2 days that I know of it may have raced on Friday too, but I was only there for Saturday and Sundays portion of the event.

No doubt that your buddy could run a Pontiac powered chevy too.....

The last few years there’s been a mid 70’s Camaro there with a Pontiac drive train racking in the street class

I've always "gone the other way". I've had Pontiac engines in a '37 Buick, a Ford Falcon, two '57 Chevies, a Chevy Suburban, a GMC, a mini-rod puller, and a previously-Chevy lakester.

Well, your are Pontiac Jack. I would love to have one of those 50s GMC pickups with a factory Pontiac engine.
I bet you already have one of those. Come on, put up the pic.
