Default Timing cover and damper pully swap ?

I am rebuilding a 400 engine for my 1967 firebird. After tearing down the original engine I discovered that the casting was unacceptable. I have another engine. It is a YJ code engine date: K114 (Nov. 11 1974) casting #481988. I wish to keep the original 1967 pulley setup. 1967 used a two piece damper and an 8 bolt water pump.

Will my original 1967 timing chain cover , damper and pulleys work with the 1974 block and crank?

Yes, your 67 parts will bolt up and work just fine.

As long as you use the pump with the cover then yep. The later models used an 11 bolt water pump. Sounds like your gonna use the whole cover and 8 bolt pump so you will be fine.
