Untouched original cars are far and few between these days with everyone feeling the need to modernize them.
Saw a youtube short about how Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks's estate Pickfaire was torn down by Pia Zadora and her foreign husband of the moment because it didn't suit her tastes. A total classic, historical landmark, razed by an ugly, tacky, selfish, temporary person. This stuff drives me crazy, as a history buff. Rant over. Your car looks GREAT.

If the wheels hadn't been on the car since the late 60's... I wouldn't have put them on. The patina on the wheels matches the patina on the car.

I sent Grant a pic and told him to forward it to the original owner.

Some people don't have an appreciation for history... I don't have much appreciation or respect for modern things...

Great score.
Is the color of the car Champagne ?

I did notice the smog equipment, obviously a Fremont car.
Surprised after all these years that is still on the car.
IIRC, California cars had the smog equip starting in '66.

The reason I asked about the color, is my '67 is Champagne, and I have only seen a handful in that color. Mine is Champagne/Parchment(Pontiac Plant)

Very happy you were able to get this car into your collection

Have fun.
